Cleaning Policies

A required initial in-person walkthrough is $30, applicable to your first service.

During the walkthrough, we will visit each area of the service. I will determine what materials I will need to bring to the clean and time block needed for the service. I can usually provide a quote at the walkthrough.

After the walkthrough, I will develop a service agreement. This will be provided for your thorough review after the walkthrough. Client signature is needed to get started. This applies to recurring services setup, and for one-time projects.

Scheduling: I prefer to clean your home every two weeks. This way a level of clean can be maintained. Cleanings a month apart are considered Deep Cleans, and cost more money. The biweekly schedule is the smarter money.

First Time Cleanings: Billed at the Deep Clean rate (check out the Pricing page). I will determine as I clean what products will work best and most safely on the various counters, tiles, flooring and other finishes around the house. I will work to get heaviest-use areas “reset” to a maintenance-cleaning level.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know immediately so I can move another client into your spot. Cancellation within 48 hours incurs a 50% fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of, or right at the time of, a scheduled cleaning incur full payment. This is because the cancellation does not allow enough time to fit another client into the schedule. If I can get lucky and cover the cancelled spot with another client, you will not be charged.

If someone in your household is sick, it is imperative to call immediately.

Emergency cancellation cases will be handled individually.

Payment: Due at time of service.

Billing and Payments: Facilitated securely online by using Square, which will allow you to e-sign the agreement, have a credit card on file, and send payment. At no time is your credit card information shown to anyone, including me.

We will establish what people or animals may be present during the cleaning service.

The homeowner or their agent is very welcome to be present while I work. Unauthorized visitors will not be allowed into the home while I am working.

Included in your fee are 15 minute paid breaks for myself during the cleaning service, generally one every three hours. For longer jobs, lunch break is 20 minutes, lunch break is not charged to you.
