First Meeting and Walkthroughs: Let’s meet at the property, walk through, and discuss your priorities. First meetings are $30, which can be applied to the first service. I can see the setup, materials, and home surfaces so I could pack the proper materials. We will establish a custom checklist so you will know what to expect. I will create a contract and send it to you for your review, and e-sign.
Pre-Cleaning: Please clear away clutter, so I can save time. Place items like perfume bottles, lotions and potions, jewelry, books, etc in a box. Handling clutter does use up my time, and I want to be efficient for you. I do not handle or move money or jewelry, please put it away.
Dishes, Laundry, and other Add-ons: Please review extra projects or focus areas with me in advance, so I have the right amount of job time booked. If I have another client scheduled after you, I may not be able to handle surprise add-on items that same day.
Pets and Kids: For safety and efficiency, please keep them away from the areas I am actively cleaning.
Ladders: My insurance does not cover work done on ladders. I have long extension poles for most of my tools. But for high up work, let’s find another professional such as a handyman to help.
Moving Furniture: Please have large heavy furniture and appliances such as sofas, refrigerators, stoves, etc moved if you would like it cleaned behind them.
Gift Certificates: Yes, I do offer these! They make lovely gifts. They are not refundable, but can be transferred.
My Personal Safety: Property is locked while I am working. No unauthorized person (such as a curious neighbor, or unannounced guest) enters your home if I am there, and you are not. I carry self-defense tools at all times. If I am made to feel uncomfortable, I leave the job site and the full amount is charged. Thank you for your help.
Scheduling: I prefer to clean your home every two weeks. This way a level can be maintained without too much time going by. Cleanings a month apart are considered Deep Cleans, and cost more money. The biweekly schedule is the smarter money. The first cleaning I do at a property is considered a First Time Clean billed at the Deep Clean rate. First Time cleanings require additional detail as I determine what products will work best on the various counters, tiles, flooring and other finishes around the house and work to get heavy-use areas “reset” to a maintenance-cleaning level.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know immediately so I can move another client into your spot. Cancellation with less than 48 hours incurs a late fee, if I cannot cover your spot. Thank you for understanding.
If I have a cancellation due to sickness, etc, I will notify you immediately for reschedule. No fee is incurred if I reschedule.
